This policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy.
1. Where We Ship
We ship physical products - including apparel and physical journals - to destinations made available at checkout. Availability may vary by destination, product, carrier availability, customs restrictions and other factors. If we cannot ship to your address after you have placed an order, we will contact you and refund any payment taken in full.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, downloadable PDF products are digital products only and no physical item will be shipped.
2. Shipping Charges
The exact shipping options, delivery charges and estimated delivery timeframes available for your order will be shown at checkout before you complete your purchase. Shipping costs may vary depending on: delivery destination; the products ordered; parcel size, weight and quantity; selected shipping method; carrier charges; and any applicable promotion or free-delivery offer. Any free-shipping offer will be subject to the terms displayed on the website or at checkout at the time of purchase.
3. Order Processing
We aim to process and dispatch physical-product orders within the timeframe shown on the relevant product page, at checkout, or in your order confirmation. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.
Orders are generally processed on business days only, excluding weekends and UK public holidays. Orders placed after a stated cut-off time, on a weekend or on a public holiday may be processed on the next business day.
If there is a material delay in processing your order, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout.
4. Delivery Estimates, Delays and the 30-Day Rule
Any delivery dates or timeframes displayed on our website, at checkout, in order confirmations or in shipping notifications are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates, unless we expressly agree otherwise.
Statutory 30-day default: In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, unless a specific delivery date is agreed at checkout, we will deliver your order within 30 days of your order being confirmed. If we fail to deliver within this period, you have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund. If a specific delivery date has been agreed and we fail to meet it, you may also have the right to cancel immediately and receive a full refund.
Delivery may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including: carrier delays or service disruption; customs, security or border inspections; import-processing delays; severe weather; public holidays; strikes or industrial action; high seasonal demand; incorrect or incomplete delivery information; or other events outside our reasonable control.
We will take reasonable steps to keep you informed of a significant delay and to help resolve delivery issues. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights where we fail to deliver within an agreed timeframe or otherwise fail to meet our legal obligations.
5. Pre-Dispatch Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched, please contact us immediately at contact@joingxm.com. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a physical-goods order at any time before dispatch, and within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.
Where an order has already been dispatched, your rights are set out in our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy.
6. Tracking
Where tracking is included with the delivery service, tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at checkout once the order has been dispatched. Tracking updates are provided by the relevant delivery carrier; carrier tracking events and delivery estimates are outside our direct control, and we cannot guarantee the accuracy of third-party tracking information.
Where a carrier's tracking system or electronic records confirm that a parcel has been delivered to the address provided at checkout - including via GPS confirmation, photograph, or a delivery scan - this will be taken as confirmation of delivery.
7. Delivery Address and Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing a complete, accurate and accessible delivery address at checkout, including the correct postcode, country, apartment or unit number where relevant, and any additional access information needed for delivery.
Please check your order confirmation promptly. If you believe the delivery address is incorrect, contact us as soon as possible at contact@joingxm.com. We will try to help where the order has not already been dispatched, but we cannot guarantee that address changes can be made after an order has been processed or handed to a carrier.
Where permitted by applicable law, you may be responsible for costs incurred because of an incorrect address, repeated failed delivery attempts, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect a parcel.
8. Safe Place and Neighbour Deliveries
Some carriers may, in accordance with their own policies or your delivery instructions, leave parcels in a nominated safe place or with a neighbour if you are not available to receive them. Where a carrier marks a parcel as delivered following a safe-place delivery or neighbour delivery that you have authorised or accepted, responsibility for the parcel passes to you at that point. We are not responsible for loss or damage occurring after such a delivery has been completed.
If you have concerns about safe-place deliveries, we recommend adding specific delivery instructions at checkout or contacting the carrier directly to manage your delivery preferences.
9. International Orders, Customs, Duties and Taxes
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import VAT, sales taxes, brokerage fees, clearance charges or other charges imposed by the destination country. Unless we expressly state at checkout that duties and taxes are included, these charges are not included in the product price or shipping charge and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Customs rules, taxes and import requirements vary by country. You are responsible for checking whether the products may be lawfully imported into your country and for paying any applicable charges. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities or for parcels delayed, returned, refused, held or destroyed because of local import rules, unpaid duties or taxes, or customs restrictions.
Where a parcel is returned to us solely because import charges were not paid by the recipient, delivery was refused by the recipient, the address provided was incorrect, or the parcel was not collected, we may deduct reasonable and documented unrecoverable shipping, return-to-sender, customs or carrier costs from any refund, where permitted by applicable law and where the situation arose because of the recipient's actions or omissions. This does not affect your statutory rights.
10. Delivery, Risk and Ownership
For consumer orders, responsibility for physical goods remains with us until they are delivered to you, or to a person you have nominated to receive the goods. Responsibility does not pass to you merely because a parcel has been handed to a delivery carrier.
If you have independently arranged for a carrier to collect goods from us, or nominated a carrier that we did not offer, responsibility may pass to you when the goods are handed to that carrier, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Ownership of physical goods passes to you once we have received payment in full and the goods have been delivered to you.
11. Carrier Compensation Limits
Please be aware that standard delivery services carry limited liability for lost or damaged parcels - typically between £20 and £100 depending on the carrier and service selected. If you are ordering high-value items, we recommend contacting us at contact@joingxm.com before placing your order to discuss enhanced shipping options with additional insurance cover. Where a carrier's liability limit is lower than the value of your order and a parcel is confirmed lost or damaged in transit, our ability to compensate you beyond the carrier's limit may be restricted, though your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
12. Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery. If your item is missing, damaged, defective, incorrect, or appears to have been tampered with, contact us promptly at contact@joingxm.com. Please include your order number, a description of the issue and, where possible, clear photographs of the parcel, packaging and affected item.
You do not lose your legal rights if you are unable to provide photographs or report an issue immediately. Your rights regarding faulty, damaged, incorrect or non-delivered products are explained in our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy and are not limited by this Shipping Policy.
13. Lost Parcels
If tracking indicates that a parcel may be lost, or if you have not received it within a reasonable period after the estimated delivery timeframe, contact us at contact@joingxm.com. We will investigate with the relevant delivery provider. Where a parcel is confirmed lost, or where applicable consumer law requires it, we will arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement or refund.
14. Split Shipments
Where an order contains multiple items, products may occasionally be sent in separate parcels or from different fulfilment locations. If this happens, you will not be charged additional shipping costs unless this was clearly disclosed and agreed before you placed the order.
15. Changes to This Shipping Policy
We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our delivery arrangements, carriers, destinations, products or legal obligations. The version in force at the time you place an order will apply to that order. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are published.
